Friday Night Club meets monthly on the third Friday of the month from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. These gals sew on whatever they wish to work on; some bring sewing machines and some do hand-work. You need to pre-register and the cost is $8 each time. This includes your evening meal. There will be someone available if you need some help or if you need to purchase something from the store. Iron and table and cutting mats are provided but please bring your own rotary cutters and rulers.
Cottage Quilt Club has been very popular with our customers since we started it in January of 2005. There are 2 groups meeting at either 9 a.m. or 5:30 p.m.on the 1st Thursday of each month. There is a wee-bit more room in the morning group, but either way, we will have room for you. There is a $10 annual membership fee. Each month members will receive a short lesson on a topic of our choice and a free original pattern. These patterns and kits are offered exclusively to club members until after they have been shown at Quilt Club. If kits are still available after Quilt Club, they will then go out for sale to the public. Since there are so many people in these groups, we have one rule that’s really a biggee: don’t be late. So.o.o., everyone that is on time will receive a coupon for 15% off any regular-priced merchandise and can be used anytime within a week’s time. Now I suspect you’ve already gotten your $10 fee back from these things we’ve offered but hold your horses, there’s more. We give away door prizes every month – one of which is a 20% off coupon to be used that day and one is a free kit for the coming month!!!!! Could this get any better? Yes, it could. Each month we will add to the Grand Prize box so that at the end of the year, the winner will receive a prize package worth $350.00!!!!! OK, that’s all I can tell you about Quilt Club. If you want to know more, stop in and see us…
Jo's Little Women
This popular group has just completed a 6-month series of patterns from Jo Morton. The patterns are free to club members and are not available in books. Club members must begin the series with a tower of Jo Morton fabrics which will be used to make all the projects with the exception of borders and backs.
Club members have requested another series -- we will begin a new series in September. Watch for more details.
